The Nonda Plum tree grows to about 6 metres in height and tends to favour dry sandy soil. The tree itself is reasonably solid but would not be called large in comparison with many of the other surrounding tropical woodland species. The branches of the tree have a slightly drooping appearance particularly around the months of Aug, Sep, Oct and Nov when it produces masses of brown/yellow coloured oval fruit.
