The Cluster Fig is a thick set tree of the Tropical Rainforest and the Close Tropical Woodland areas. The tree appears to have two fruiting seasons during the year covering the months of Feb, Mar, Apr, and Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, and Nov. Outcrops of figs appear on the main trunk of the tree as well as the branches. The tree is often found near watercourses and shaded valley areas.The figs are coloured from green to bright red according to the degree of ripeness and maturity.
