The Cape Gooseberry is generally found around coastal beach areas but it is also found well inland. It is an introduced area from South America, but is now widely spread here in Australia.In some instances it is described as a bush, and in other cases as a low scrambling plant growing to less than a metre tall, with dull greyish to dark green leaves.
