The Bottle Tree is a rather distinctive tree, restricted to the southern Brigalow country of Queensland. The trunk has a swollen or bulging appearance and often resembles the shape of a bottle. The trunk is usually topped by a crown of dark green leaves. These leaves provide excellent shade cover and for this reason the tree has been saved in many cleared areas of the country.
